Student Video CD-ROM

Available on CD-ROM for students, this new video introduces a diverse group of native speakers from around the Francophone world-France, Belgium, Quebec, Haiti, Morocco, Benin, Congo, and Madagascar-who talk about aspects of their daily life and their hopes for the future. The Chez nous Video is fully integrated into the program through: clips related to each chapter's cultural content; montages that introduce the themes of the Venez chez nous! lesson; and interviews that make up the Observons exercises in the textbook and video manual section of the SAM. The Student Video CD-ROM also contains pre- and post-viewing exercises which can be assigned for homework. In addition, supporting activities in the textbook, video manual, and Companion Website focus students' attention on the linguistic and cultural content of the video.
