Piano Exercises: 'Klavierübung' by J. L. Krebs, edited by Kurt Soldan. The title of the work and the structure of its choral settings clearly reflect the influence of his great master, Bach, at the same time his melodic idiom shows a strong leaning towards a more rational interpretation of baroque style and cannot quite throw off the influences of a new epoch.
