It contains step-by-step lessons related to the eight steps of basic research: select a topic, organize a topic, ask questions, use a study method, collect information, develop a product, present information, and evaluate the study. The reusable student Resource Cards cover all the steps of basic research and are correlated to each lesson in the Teacher's Guide.

• The Teacher's Guide, containing instructions on teaching research skills, classroom management suggestions, research skill sequences and correlations, and complete lesson plans,
