Synopsis
She yearns to be free. He wants to settle down.
When old attractions spark, can they find a middle ground?
Free spirited musician Jodie McCauley is only back on the family ranch for one reason: to fulfill the terms of her father's will. Once that's done, she's brushing off the dust of a place she never truly called home - forever.
Even so, selling the ranch means disposing of Jodie's beloved horses. She can't stand the idea of sending them to auction, wild with neglect. But if she can get them trained, they'll go to good homes.
And that means asking the boy she once loved for help.
Finn Ridley wants to turn Jodie's request down, but when his flaky mother bails on accompanying a well-known singer, he's forced to ask Jodie for something in return. Finn remembers Jodie as a wild child - irresponsible and undependable, not the family-orientated women he's looking for. But working together means old feelings and repressed memories make an unwelcome comeback.
A second chance seems impossible, but is there still hope for the rugged cowboy and his first love?
