Neil McGraw's childhood is unusual. The son of a dour Scottish undertaker, he regularly finds himself locked among the coffins in the basement. No wonder he becomes obsessed with the question of questions: What happens when you die?

Turning is back on the Scottish way of life, Neil sets off to find the answer. But when his father dies, Neil comes home with his Indian wife Lila to turn the family business into something altogether different.
