In War Torn, readers will go back in time to 1969 as America is in the middle of an unpopular war in Vietnam to meet veteran Cesar Cruz as he is interviewed by Kelsey for a school project. The History Files series takes readers into significant eras in United States history, allowing them to walk in the shoes of characters living in the periods they've learned about in the classroom.
