The subject of this volume are the interdependencies between international and constitutional order: How did the constellations and frameworks of the international order and of international law affect the constitutional structures of the States and how was this discussed by the players of constitutional and international law? The series of illustrative examples ranges from the Peace of Westphalia and the Congress of Vienna up to the constitutional law of the German constitutionalism in the 19th century.
