Synopsis

Ten-year-old Andy's peculiar little family is on the brink of collapse. His mother is eagerly awaiting the advent of a no-fault divorce, allowing her to say farewell to Harry Stylianou and all his crazy bullying, and to live in peace. But, Andy has a melodramatic mind and fears that things could easily end in murder, and he wishes he could somehow subdue his father's rage. Normal family life seems impossible until one summer's day in 1974 when a miraculous Greek voice promises to fix the family's problems. This is the bittersweet story about mentoring, delusion, and a child's need to trust.
