In his essay, slim but full of insights, the historian Zeffiro Ciuffoletti analyzes the three major crises that hit Italy in the twentieth century - the first one by the end First World War, then after the Second, and the third in the days of Tangentopoli - to highlight the reasons behind many political and economic issues that have afflicted this country for many years.
