Translating Modern Japanese Literature by Female Authors

This book is the follow-up to Translating Modern Japanese Literature (2019). This new work presents and analyses short pieces of literature by Japanese female authors from the early and mid-20th century: a short story by Hayashi Fumiko, diary entries by Miyamoto Yuriko, essays by Hirayama Chiyoko, and a short story by Yada Tsuseko.
