Transforming Struggles into Success: Volume 2 is a research-based edited book that explores the emotional, social, and pedagogical challenges faced by English language learners in vulnerable and low-income educational contexts. The volume presents studies conducted mainly in Colombia on topics such as introversion and speaking anxiety, student confidence, storytelling for vocabulary learning, outdated textbooks, immersion experiences, autism and inclusion, and interactive teaching strategies. Across the chapters, the authors argue that many learning difficulties are connected more to emotional, contextual, and instructional factors than to students' abilities themselves. The book promotes learner-centered, inclusive, and communicative approaches that help students develop confidence, fluency, participation, and meaningful language learning experiences in EFL classrooms.
