Theologie Des Psalters

Psalms are pieces of art, therefore "Theology of the Psalms" is particularly concerned with the aesthetic character of the psalms and reception thereof. Its aim is to shed light on the meaning of aesthetics for the overall theology. The inner movement of the psalms and their adaptation in the arts are being considered as well as religious practice and cultural hermeneutics. The articles in this collection have been presented during a conference on the theology of the psalms in honor of Gunter Bader's 70th birthday.
