Theatre. Tome II

This second volume of Boissy's theatre gathers fifteen plays, out of which six, more or less finalized, have never been printed. Also, it contains the successful Apologie du siecle (A Praise of the Century, 1734), staging Momus as a satirical adept of the optimistic spirit of his era.
