The story begins with David, a five-year-old boy crossing the U.S.-Mexico border with his family. Unbeknownst to him, his life is marked by God for a divine purpose, though the path would be one of great pain, redemption, and glory for God's kingdom. From the beginning, David felt an odd calling to the number 27. Since his childhood, the number seemed to be a part of his life, as if the number was part of his very soul.
