The Paul Cave Prize for Literature 2025: Novelettes. Short Stories. Poems. Flash Fiction. Micro Fiction.

It became clear that The Paul Cave Prize for Literature was not acknowledging micro fiction, flash fiction and novelettes, all really important literary forms. So, in 2025 these categories have been added. And they've proved popular. As a result, this year, there are more prizes and the cash awards have increased in value, too. That is quite a landmark achievement for this self-funded prize. Writing that holds my attention and provides surprises throughout. Writing that features believable characters and plots requiring little editing.
