The Miniaturisation of Sheila Trinket

BiographyCath Barton's novella The Plankton Collector was the winner of the AmeriCymru Prize for the Novella in 2017, published by New Welsh Rarebyte in 2018 and republished by Parthian in 2025.
The Miniaturisation of Sheila Trinket is her fifth published novella, following In the Sweep of the Bay (Louise Walters Books, 2020), The Geography of the Heart (Arroya Seco Press, 2023), and Between the Virgin and the Sea (Leamington Books, 2023). Her pamphlet of short stories Mr Bosch and His Owls was published by Atomic Bohemian in 2024. She also writes flash fiction and is working on a novel set in the circus. She lives in Wales and is a keen hill-walker.
