The Langmatt Museum in Baden, near Zurich, is a fascinating time capsule consisting of an outstanding collection of French Impressionism, an Art Nouveau villa and a historic park. Sidney and Jenny Brown bequeathed the estate and the collections to the town of Baden to establish a public museum, which opened in 1990. The sale of three of Paul Cezanne's paintings from the collection ensured the public museum in 2023.
