Having survived riots, revolutions and psycopathic camels on previous holidays, I thought nothing could freak me out anymore. That was until i made the cardinal sin of travelling. i took my girlfriend with me. This is the tale of what was planned as a romantic trip from Venice to Rome via Florence. The reality was somewhat different and despite witnessing some of the most remarkable and beautiful treasures of Ancient Rome and the Renaissance, this trip will be remembered for one persons refusal to enjoy themselves.
