The Good Deed MangerThe Good Deed Manger is a charming, beautifully illustrated Christmas story that teaches children the importance of doing good deeds and helping others. While searching for a place to stay in Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph meet a young donkey named Jordan. Jordan helps Mary and Joseph by giving them a place to stay in his stable and then, with the help of friends, fills his empty manger with soft hay so it will be a warm and cozy bed for Baby Jesus. By Jordan's example, children learn that they, too, must do good deeds. Children can experience The Good Deed Manger, and the excitement of preparing a cozy bed for Baby Jesus, in their own home. By doing good deeds and behaving well, children earn soft hay and fill their own Good Deed Manger. On Christmas morning, if their good deeds and behavior have earned enough hay, they will find Baby Jesus sleeping cozily in the manger they prepared!
