The Furtherer

Young Dalton Evers is a "furtherer", a mortal guardian angel, but at seven he doesn't know this yet when he tries to save his best friend's life from the clutches of a serial child-killer named Charles Lee Goyer. FBI agent Mike Jansen, the only grownup who sees the truth that some human beings are furtherers of others, joins the battle between Light and Dark, as the reader meets the arch-enemy, the Giver of Cold Intentions, who wants to eliminate all furtherers from the world.
