The Fox Mayor of Dickensville

Edmund Dickens bequeaths his estate to Tom the gardener and all all animal residents, be they domesticated or wild. This fosters an experiment in government and the mayoralty of Winston the fox. The life and ambitions of Alto the wolf, a trickster and emigre from the Unknown Regions, will soon collide with the lives of Tom, Winston and all resident animal life. Alto's talent for deception will ultimately reveal a deep devotion to his friends in Dickensville. A great read aloud for precocious children, or a standalone chapter book for confident middle grade readers.
