The First Snowflake

This delightful story, with lots of rhyming words, has been inspired by the pictures beautifully illustrated by Roger Parker. It tells the tale of the first snowflake. Some of the animals and one bird are excited as they watch the snowflakes gently fall from the sky onto the ground. It is so important to encourage our children to gain some awareness of the cold wintery environment and the difficulties that some animals and birds may face during winter time. We hope this story will help the children think about different ways that they can help.
