The Duties of Christians

This clear, comprehensive, yet concise volume by John Brown of Edinburgh is the best single resource available detailing the duties of Christians. It first discusses the duties that church office-bearers owe the church-members in their charge. Secondly, it deals with the duties that church members owe to their office-bearers; and finally the duty that every church-member owes each other, namely mutual submission. This is a careful exegetical study of I Peter 5:1-5 and should be read by every pastor, elder and office-bearer as well as distributed to every church-member.
