Synopsis
Suspense, Romance and Dark Humour
An unlikely hero, an exotic city and a few seriously bad days.
When university lecturer Roland "Lando" Westwood accepts a short teaching stint in the exotic city of Dubai, he's hoping for a change of pace. Instead, he gets a change of life-or, perhaps, the end of it. A witness to a horrible murder, he does not know who to trust. He becomes embroiled with the CIA and MI6 as he stumbles upon a terrorist plot potentially linked to a senior level in the Dubai government. However, his fears are lightened by his romantic relationship with an exotic Turkish dancer with a hidden past. Armed with only his humour and newly found friends, will this be enough to keep him alive? The Creek delivers a suspense-filled, often darkly funny journey for Lando as, through his capacity to deal with danger, he finds the resilience in his character, of which he was unaware.
