The Courage of Saint Agnes

Saint Agnes gave her life to Jesus and to him alone. A beautiful young girl, Saint Agnes lived in Rome 1,700 years ago. Faced with persecution for refusing to marry, and discovered to be a Christian, she proclaimed her faith and devotion to Jesus with boldness and courage. When Agnes faced her unjust punishment, Jesus worked miracles to show his love for her.

In this story of love, bravery, and sacrifice, Saint Agnes reminds children that Jesus treasures those who devote their lives to him, and he protects them and rewards them with eternal happiness with him in heaven.
