The Cocaine Trilogy

This trilogy of books examines three integral aspects of the cocaine
trade: it's production in Bolivia (Mark Jacobs's mysterious and poetic
novel Stone Cowboy), the smuggler's tale (Robert Sabbag's drug classic
Snowblind) and its use on the streets of New York (Michael Guinzburg's
wise-cracking violent thriller Beam Me Up, Scotty). Taken together
these three brilliantly written, entertaining and highly acclaimed
books give us a more illuminating picture of the cocaine trade and
cocaine use than any number of sociological essays ever could.
