5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

5:2 Ja ta avas oma suu ja õpetas neid ning ütles:

5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

5:3 Õndsad on vaimult vaesed, sest nende päralt on taevariik.

5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5:4 Õndsad on need, kes leinavad, sest nemad leiavad lohutust.

5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

5:5 Õndsad on tasased, sest nemad pärivad maa.

5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

5:6 Õndsad on need, kes nälgivad ja janunevad õiguse järele, sest nemad rahuldatakse.
