5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

5:2 Mpe afungoli monoko na ye mpe ateyaki bango.

5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

5:3 Esengo na babola na elimo, mpo bokonzi ya likoló ezali ya bango.

5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5:4 Esengo na baoyo bazali kolela, mpo bakob?ndisama.

5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

5:5 Esengo na bato ya bop?l?, mpo bakozwa libula ya mabele.

5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
