5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

5:2 Kisha akafumbua kinywa chake, akawafundisha, akisema,

5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

5:3 Heri walio maskini wa roho; Maana ufalme wa mbinguni ni wao.

5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5:4 Heri wenye huzuni; maana hao watafarijika.

5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

5:5 Heri walio wapole; Maana hao watairithi nchi.

5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

5:6 Heri wenye njaa na kiu ya haki; maana hao watashibishwa.
