5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

5:2 Dhe ai hapi gojën dhe i mësoi duke thënë

5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

5:3 Lum ata që janë të varfër në frymë, sepse e tyre është mbretëria e qiejve.

5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5:4 Lum ata që vajtojnë, sepse ata do të ngushëllohen.

5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

5:5 Lum ata që janë zemërbutë, sepse ata do ta trashëgojnë tokën.

5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

5:6 Lum ata që kanë uri dhe etje për drejtësi, sepse ata do të ngopen.
