Synopsis

William Huntington (1745-1813) was a nearly-illiterate English gardener and coal heaver when he came to Christ. He experienced a dramatic conversion, and soon answered a call to preach, despite his lack of formal schooling. For many years he and his family experienced grinding poverty, and he found himself frequently obligated to take on debts in order to survive. He insisted on repaying a debt the instant he received any money, whether as a result of holding services, or finding money on the road as he walked to his preaching points, or as gifts bestowed on him by Christians who felt led to supply his need. This book is the testimony of how God specifically provided for him when he was in dire circumstances, over and over again, in direct and unmistakable answers to his petitions and reliance on God.
Here is an inspiring example of the results of steadfast trust in our Heavenly Father, whose faithful promise to provide his children's daily needs never fails.
