The book is about the life and times of David Thornton aka Pie growing up in Harlem during the time when Harlem was the drug capital of the United States. His life was focused on playing basketball and making it to the NBA. Once the opportunity rose he had to decide on a professional basketball career or make a stand to represent his hometown Harlem. This is an autobiography of the man they referred to as Pie.

A story of a man that played the basketball game at its highest level and came to be a legend in the Harlem community not just in basketball but in life. Basketball Is Never Ending Story as life is a Never Ending Story.
