Thank You, God, for Another Beautiful Day is the story about a little girl discovering that each day is a GIFT!
From the moment that she wakes up until she closes her eyes to sleep at night, there are opportunities for her to explore, notice beauty, and discover something new! There are BIG adventures like climbing a mountain, watching the dolphins in the sea, climbing up an oak tree, throwing rocks in the river... or quieter moments like lying in the grass while watching the clouds float by. When she she takes time to notice these moments in each day, her heart feels open, thankful and full of love.
She ends her day by giving thanks to God, for Another Beautiful Day! These glimmers of goodness are little reminders of God's love, beauty, and peace found in the joy's of each day.
This book encourages children, and grown-ups too, to explore each day with curiosity and appreciation for the goodness that can be found everywhere! At the end of this book there are 7 simple questions for discussion with a child and a short scripture to read together. These are designed to help them feel the gratitude, Give thanks to God and notice the goodness in their day. Questions such as: What are you proud of today? What made you smile or laugh today?
