Technological Change and Workers' Movements

An unusual opportunity to compare the social science perspectives that prevail in the United States and the Soviet Union was provided by the third US--USSR Colloquium on World Labour and Social Change. Essay topics range widely to cover contemporary and historical analyses, developed and developing countries, capitalist and socialist states.
