Sustainability and Carbon Credits

Carbon credits have been constantly contemplated in discussions on global warming and climate change, which are now considered an important part of the international political agenda, mainly due to the development of scientific research that observes the concentration levels of greenhouse gases. Brazil, a developing country, has an obligation to formulate and implement national programmes containing measures to mitigate climate change. This book takes a brief look at the themes of Sustainable Development and Carbon Credits in projects, summarising some of the main legal and operational aspects in this area.
