Summer Intrigue

Summer, 1812. Lucy Banbury arrives at Raxton Hall for a house party. Over thirty and independently-minded, she is in want of a husband to secure her future. Also attending is Captain Nathaniel Lambert, owner of a small fortune in naval prize money, and himself in want of a wife. But both are determined not to contract a loveless marriage - and their first encounter leaves them with ruffled feathers. Despite this, however, they soon find themselves drawn to each other...
