Stories from the Trenches

When things around you are constantly changing, events can be quickly forgotten. For this reason I began to record the most interesting things while still in the trenches. If I didn't return home, I wanted my children to read what I had experienced. You too can now read these stories and see the war through my eyes. Realize how beautiful life is, especially when it is short and uncertain. Laugh with me at the exploits of my comrades and mourn those who have fallen. Nowhere have I met so many happy and friendly people, as on the frontline.
