The wolf I share my body with was born able to separate herself from me and wander around in a spirit form, but now that we managed to get ourselves permanently separated, she's trapped as spirit and I'm dying.

I looked for a magical fix-all that could bring us back together, but so far, the only answer I've found is the one thing I can never accept:

Taking a mate.

My friends are interviewing guys, trying to find the best candidate for something I swore I'd never do.

The only man I somewhat trust has started trying to convince me why he's the best candidate.

And my wolf is just as on board with me taking a mate as the rest of them.
