Roulette ships as nicknamed, are dangerous and sexy. They are small, fast, tough and used for random jumping. The reporter Tamara Vance aims for the top anchor job and journeys to the backwater of Pik station, with her sights set on Sal Dervish, the master of the Wild Cat, who has seemed have lost his nerve, and rumoured never jump again.
