A Dark Knight Rises Against Fascism-Bat-Man Battles Shadows in 1939 Gotham
Set in 1939, The Bat-Man: Second Knight continues Bruce Wayne's noir journey following First Knight. After surviving a suspicious car crash with his fiancée, Bat-Man uncovers a conspiracy involving the Brotherhood-a cult led by the enigmatic Monk and aided by a young Jonathan Crane. As Gotham's elite fall under the sway of fear and isolationist ideologies, Bat-Man discovers the Monk's true identity.
