Best known in the States for his work on the Warren icon, Vampirella, Sanjulian has been rightly called 'an artist's artist' for his brilliant sense of composition and use of colour -- it's the kind of thing civilians just enjoy, while fellow illustrators make furious mental notes for future reference.
