River of Change: Wayward Warriors dives deeper into the adventures and tragedies of the main characters, Warrior of the River and Jera, who is also known as Beautiful Warrior. Separated by unfortunate events, River tries desperately to retrieve the woman he has come to love dearly from the soldiers that are clearing the southern plains of its native residents. At the same time, Jera struggles to break free of her captors and return to River and her new Cheyenne family. Both encounter new friends and foes, as well as a few old ones.Their determination to reunite does not come without its costs. What are they willing to sacrifice to be together again?
