Our ability to face the climate challenge and promote a fairer relationship with others, including animals, requires a profound reordering of the representations we have of our place (and role) as humans in nature. Taking seriously our vulnerability and our dependence on ecosystems makes us understand that, on Earth, living is always living together. Thus, ecology is inseparable from the animal cause and from respect for the most vulnerable people, and the awareness of the bond that unites us to other living beings moves us to repair the world.
