Reactivar El Sentido Común

When scientific knowledge is imposed on the daily life of citizens, it is necessary to rethink the political debate on science. Isabelle Stengers draws on the philosophy of Alfred Whitehead (1861-1947) to find the link that will bring science and society back together in trust: common sense. What does today's denialism have to do with Whitehead's process philosophy? Stengers develops multiple arguments linking these two developments in this scholarly work that is set to revolutionize the view of science, recovering «the least common of all senses» which, on the other hand, also seems to have been lost by part of society.
