The texts collected in this volume are homages to authors and colleagues, in the form of a personal chronicle about publishing in the changing landscapeof the last decades. Among the Spanish language authors who appear in this book are Martin Gaite, Pombo, Pitol, Chirbes, Vila-Matas, Marina, Piglia, Villoro, Pauls, Mendez and Kiko Amat. Among the authors who were published in translation are Nabokov, Cohen, Bourdieu, Magris, Tabucchi, Baricco, Kapuscinski, Barnes, Sharpe, Bukowski, Carver, Tom Wolfe andArundhati Roy.
