As if seen by X-ray, the characters of these stories show us everything that a human being should hide, every story is filled with unmentionable eccentricities. A Parisian photographer who is interested only in eyelids, a Japanese office worker who discovers his strange affinity with cacti, and a model who has hidden a tick since her childhood. With an ironic style and false ingenuity the author introduces us to the lives of men and women who appear to be normal but who in fact belong to an enormous army of misfits.
