The events of the Osnabrück Peace Talks 2007 dealt with political fields in which a permanent search for conflict solutions must be made: Despite many efforts to educate, right-wing radicalism remains a permanent conflict. Calling for tolerance is one thing; Educational efforts and media debates must also be stepped up, and legal and police resources from the rule of law must be exhausted. It is an almost trivial finding that people living in Germany with non-German origins are of existential importance for the state and society. Nevertheless, "integration" is not yet normal. The Union's united Europe is already a success, but unification remains a difficult, long-term process with some potential for conflict. Unfortunately, the Middle East still seems a long way from a process of mutual understanding. A continuing conflict is smoldering here, which can escalate at any time.
