Old Rosemount

The Rosemount Viaduct is a well-known landmark in the city centre of Aberdeen and was built to expand the city to the west into the open fields of Rosemount estate. Hence this book begins in the city centre and moves towards Forresthill where the hospital is now. Victoria and Westburn parks fall within the area and there are plenty of street scenes and social history as well as of the long-departed electric trams.
