Not Fade Away: Poems 1989-1994

Not Fade Away is about preserving memories, in various ways: of favourite artworks; of friends and heroes like the late painter Sam Walsh; of an eccentric Uncle; of a continuing, international love affair. 'Winter Ending', which opened the Labour Party 1992 election manifesto, is one of many poems which confront contemporary realities, from a teenage single mother to the fate of lovers in Bosnia.
