A Mexican American teen, joined by two other teens, comes of age in a road trip from the U.S.-Mexico border to Connecticut as they're chased by members of a drug cartel. A work of literary fiction with a thriller bent. Sergio is a very well established author, with countless connections and an expertise in book promotion. His last book,A Peculiar Kind of Immigrant's Son, received wide critical acclaim, such as an INDIES Bronze award, and received blurbs from prominent authors such as Luis Urrea and Sandra Cisneros.
